I dont own a dog, so I guess that means that nobody can guess what my real personality is :)  However, I came across another online post about WHY some people dont own pets.  In a nutshell... its cost, time and allegies...

However, all that said, I must agree that if you own a dog, you will realize that it truly is a man's best friend. :-)
