Some burglars from California had a change of heart after realizing they had stolen computers from a non-profit group that provides support for victims of violence.
A couple of days after notifying police of the robbery, the group got another call reporting of suspicious activity again around their building.
However, when they went to see what was going on,
instead of finding the burglars, they found a shopping chart full of the items that were stolen the previous day. Inside one of the returned laptops was a note of apology...

Ways to Praise God, even in Tough Times
Whenever I ask fellow Christians, what is the best way to stay grounded in a stressful or difficult situation... a surprising answer from them is to just simply: Praise God.
As Casting Crowns sing... "I will Praise You in the Storm".
But, how is it humanly possible to honour and worship our creator, maker, and best friend when we "feel" like the tides have turned against us?
What methods can we use to still have a worshipful heart towards our Heavenly Father, even when our hearts seem heavy?
The website 'What Christians Want to Know dot com' has posted a list of ways that can help focus your mind, heart, and spirit to praise our maker, no matter what hardship you are going through...
1. Just Pray. Talk to God.
2. Listen or Sing Worship Songs
3. Spend quiet time reading the bible
4. Try Fasting
5. Ask for forgiveness and forgive others.
Remember the bible commands us to : "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with
all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; - So let's take that on as a challenge... oh- and, also 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
God knows every detail about you... so even when we go through tough times in this 'imperfect' world, just know what it says in the bible in Psalm 18: "As for God, His ways are perfect."
And never forget Jeremiah 29:11 'For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'
And finally: James 4:8 "Draw near to God, and God will draw near to you."

Baby Car Seat Common Mistakes
So brand-new parents Will and Kate are being given some trouble
this week from the media about having newborn baby Prince George
strapped in incorrectly to his child car seat.
Let's just consider this a learning experience for all new parents,
that I'm sure everyone can benefit from.
that I'm sure everyone can benefit from.
Here are some things to look out for in the future...
1. Keeping a baby wrapped in a blanket does not
secure the newborn safely into his/her car seat harness.
If parents need to use a blanket, it should go over
the car seat straps, and not under.
2. Make sure those seatbelts are snug on the baby.
The picture of baby George's seatbelt looked a little too roomy.
3. Children should be facing backwards in their child car seat
in the back seat, up until 2 years old. Airbags in the front seats
are too dangerous for babies.
On that note, things have really come a long way since Prince William was born. Princess Diana carried him into the car in her arms for the drive home back in 1982.
Safe driving!

My favorite music video of the week...
The song is "He is With Us" by Love and The Outcome.
The Canadian band is made up of vocalist Jodi King and her husband, bass player Chris Rademaker.
Its not out on CD... yet. Their self titled debut album comes out next month on Aug 27.
The album is Co-Produced by talented American Christian music industry pro's : Seth Mosley (Newsboys), Ben Glover (for KING & COUNTRY), David Garcia (TobyMac) and Jeff Pardo (Matthew West).
Here are some of the lyrics, feel free to sing along...
Remember when your hope is lost and faith is shaken?
Remember when you wonder if you're gonna make it?
There's a hand stretched out through your deepest doubt.
We can't pretend to see the ending,...or what's coming up ahead...
To know the story of tomorrow...
But -- we can stay close to the One who knows!
We can trust our God
He knows what He's doing
Though it might hurt now
We won't be ruined
It might seem there's an ocean in between
But He's holding on to you and me
And He's never gonna leave, no
He is with us, He is with us
Always, always
He is with us, He is with us
Always
We believe there is purpose, there is meaning in everything
We surrender to His leading
He wants nothing more than to have us close.
Our faith is sealed
Our hope is real
Come what may
We're not afraid
We can trust our God
Always, always
We can trust our God
Always, always.
* Amen to that!!! :)

LEGO The Movie Trailer
I'm sure your kids love LEGO, or... if no kids yet, you would have played with LEGO as a child.
There's a new family-friendly movie in production set to be released next year starring the Lego Man and other Lego Characters.
Just caught the official trailer this week, looks like a funny one!
